Lanny Cardow is a digital marketing professional and team leader with extensive experience in political and public affairs communications.
Currently VP and Head of Digital Strategy at NATIONAL Public Relations in Toronto, Lanny was previously a Principal at Navigator Limited, a high-stakes public strategy and communications firm. He has also led the digital practice at Indent Communications, a boutique Toronto advertising agency that specialized in political and public affairs campaigns.
Lanny has served as the digital director for the Conservative Party of Canada in Ottawa, where he built a team to identify voters and raise money online in the lead-up to the 2015 federal election.
As an experienced political staffer in the in the office of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Lanny’s roles included responsibility for managing the Government of Canada’s advertising portfolio.
Lanny has operated his own communications firm, and has worked with DC-based Luntz Global to test advertising for corporate and political clients in the United States and abroad.
An alumnus of the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University, Lanny completed his Masters of Arts with a concentration in polling. While in Washington, Lanny conducted research for the Institute of Politics, Democracy and the Internet, and interned in the office of former Speaker Newt Gingrich.
